I think my funniest one might have been when I had “Near-Death Experience” on the field (I was running Mr Negative as my commander) and I had some things in the works but someone else had some huge creatures down, attacked everyone, killed off everyone else, but happened to bring me down to exactly 1, then couldn’t do anything else, so I thought she was gonna win but instead she handed me the victory 🤣

Round 15 SCG Louisville. I'm 9-5, if I win this last round I MIGHT be able to cash. It's a Tron mirror for the second round in a row. My opponent, his name was Ryan I believe, was a very awesome opponent and a great player. We rolled to see who goes first, I won. So from there we both assumed I would win the round because of the nature of our decks. I go turn 3 Tron, Karn, exile your land, we go to game 2. Game 2 he hits turn 3 Tron into nothing? Then turn 4 Ulamog, The Ceaseless Hunger and hits 2 of my lands. Game 3. Im on the play, I open up Tron and 2 Karn Liberated. If i had shown him my openings hand he would have conceded on the spot. His turn 2 he cracks a Chromatic Sphere and pauses to think what color he wants, he pauses for A WHILE. He says "I'm sorry man I don't mean to slow play you. This color is VERY important." I say its cool, I know how the deck operates, the whole game might hinge on "Green" for Sylvan Scrying or "Black" for Thoughtseize. I look at the clock, it has been 4 minutes into our 50 minute round. We played games 1, 2, and several turns into game 3 in 4 minutes. He chooses green, draws, casts Sylvan Scrying and passes. I karn and exile his land, but might as well play the next turn what does he have to lose? I untap for my next turn exile another land play another Karn and exile another land. He concedes. He goes, "Did you have both Karns on t3?" I said yea both in my opener. He said yea if I picked black i was gonna thoughtseize, if i saw both Karns I would have scooped there. Cashed that event, won $200.
