This was Merlin and I one year ago, the morning after the boys and I drove up from the Bay Area to Seattle. Even after making them sit through a 12-hour car ride the day before he still wanted his morning cuddles.
It was a crazy few days leading up to leaving. I was pretty crispy from the previous few months and my nervous system was pretty out of wack. A lot of emotions, a lot of stress, and a lot of hope for the future.
I can say this last year has been an adventure. Some challenges, new experiences, and still, a lot of hope for the future. 😊
