UNDERCOVER: PASTOR AT KANSAS DEMOCRAT SENATE CANDIDATE ADAM HAMILTON'S CHURCH AFFIRMS "TRANS MEMBERS!” “We’re part of Pride Fest every year!” "We do queer weddings here. We did them before when we weren't supposed to." That's Pastor Lydia Kim, Pastor of Connection and Care at Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas — "the church that he built," where Hamilton is senior pastor — speaking to an undercover journalist. Asked whether Hamilton is "against drag queens": "No, he's a Democrat." "Some of my favorite volunteers are trans, like you would never know." "One of our churches in our Great Plains Conference... Urban Abbey... they actually do a Drag Queen Story Hour. It's fabulous, actually." "They actually got a bomb threat. And we as a church responded... some of the drag queens are members of that church. And so we sent money to help with security." "And all your pastors are...?" "Open and affirming." "We actually have a pastor whose literal job is community justice."
Happy birthday to the guy who takes having a good time seriously and is serious about almost nothing else. You’re a magnet for laughter, connection and community, and you have a way of making everyone around you feel like they belong. So grateful to have experienced another year of life with you 🤍 And what a year it’s been. We took on a crazy abandoned house project in Mexico, competed in @amazingracecda , rebuilt our cabin home and, most importantly, grew together as partners and parents. Life with you is full of stories worth telling. My favourite will always be ours. Happy birthday, buddy. We’re so lucky you’re ours 💛💫
It’s lavashak season again ✨🍂🙂‍↕️

The day I met: Ser Dunk the Tall ⚔️🎃 *aka the best shoot day of my life. Cast… Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Fan Boy - @samcforth THE ACTUAL SER DUNK - @peter_claff THE ACTUAL EGG - @dextersolansell The TUNE - @fontainesband Real talk… I absolutely loved this show (shoutout @hbomax) and when I heard about Peter’s career coming from a rugby pitch to Westeros I HAD to give it a shot and slide into his DMs. My biggest lesson from drama school was never losing the ability to ‘play’.
It’s very rare you meet people that genuinely LOVE to play, but Peter and I shared a a Nando’s and acted like kn*bs for 8 hours. And it was bloody great.
HUGE shoutout to the REAL Egg, Dexter for being so keen to get involved. And special shout out to both of our girlfriends for helping on the day! <3 Happy Halloween, Sam x #KnightoftheSevenKingdoms #GameofThrones #Halloween #Comedy #Actor
