Amateur Takes Control

Still trying to find the words.

Whether you’ve been listening to Amateur Takes Control for years or this was your first time hearing us, your presence meant more than we can express. Seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones, and sharing that room together reminded us why we continue to make music.

This show was never just about the five of us on stage. It belonged to so many people who believed in it long before the lights came on.

To our friends, family, photographers, videographers, designers, sound, visual and lighting engineers, everyone who helped carry gear, sold merch, documented moments, shared our posts, bought tickets, or simply checked in to ask how things were going, thank you. Every act of support, no matter how small it seemed, helped make this possible.

A Pale Decrepit Dot is not the end of a chapter. It feels like the beginning of a new one.

We’re already looking ahead, taking this record to more cities, playing to new audiences, writing new music, and continuing to build this band one step at a time.

There are still places we hope to visit, collaborations we want to make, and stories we want to tell. Thank you for helping us keep this journey alive. We hope you’ll continue walking alongside us.

This was definitely one for the books.
Thank you, for being present.
