Long overdue but we’ve just recently uploaded a snippet of our performance at Revolver, Taipei. Shot through a DJI Pocket. Raw and unedited. Extended video on YouTube. Link in Bio. by @amateurtakescontrol
Taiwan, that’s a wrap. 🇹🇼 We came here not expecting much, but we’re leaving with our hearts full. Thank you to everyone who showed up, stayed to watch us, bought something from / for us, had a conversation, helped us along the way or simply made us feel at home. The love and support we felt throughout this tour has been incredible. New friends, familiar faces, bands we now love and hopefully many reasons to find our way back here again. To everyone who played a part in this little Taiwan adventure, thank you for making it what it was. @paramount.bar.tw @revolvertaipei @soundlivehouse @section_stereo @dogbiscuit411 Until next time, Taiwan. 📷: @section_stereo — ATC by @amateurtakescontrol
Last night was quite intense, Taipei. We didn’t think many would come out for the show especially with the monsoon. But you braved the weather and still came down for the show. Mad respect to @majorinbodybear for playing such a great set and thank you @revolvertaipei for having us. @soundlivehouse next, for the final one. 📷: @section_stereo by @amateurtakescontrol
Amateur Takes Control Aug 07 live at Paramount Bar Thank you all audience and @arobmusic by @amateurtakescontrol
Major in Body Bear NTD 700 #AmateurTakesControl #TheDot #TaiwanTour #Singapore #PostRock by @amateurtakescontrol
◯ Amateur Takes Control : The Dot – Taiwan Tour 今年夏天，ATC 帶著最新專輯 A Pale Decrepit Dot 展開The Dot – Taiwan Tour，走進高雄、台北與台中三座城市。 Major in Body Bear 19:30 Open / 20:00 Start 預售單人｜NTD 700 (+ 1 Drink) 預售雙人｜NTD 1,200 (+ 2 Drinks) 現場｜NTD 800 (+1 Drink) ● 08.09（Sun）台中｜迴響音樂展演空間 特別來賓｜步行者 Pacers 20:00 Open / 20:30 Start Amateur Takes Control｜60分鐘完整演出 預售｜NTD 600 雙人｜NTD 1,000 現場｜NTD 700 #amateurtakescontrol #theDottaiwantour #taiwantour by @amateurtakescontrol
Had the opportunity to try out the @earthworksaudio DK7 Gen 1 for @amateurtakescontrol recent show at Esplanade Annexe Studio. The first thing I noticed was the sonic image: transparent, detailed, and packed with attack. Every hit felt natural, with plenty of clarity while still retaining the character of the kit. Shout out to @loudtechasia @avlfx for the opportunity to experience the Earthworks DK7 Gen 1 in a live setting. by @amateurtakescontrol

Still trying to find the words. Whether you’ve been listening to Amateur Takes Control for years or this was your first time hearing us, your presence meant more than we can express. Seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones, and sharing that room together reminded us why we continue to make music. This show was never just about the five of us on stage. It belonged to so many people who believed in it long before the lights came on. To our friends, family, photographers, videographers, designers, sound, visual and lighting engineers, everyone who helped carry gear, sold merch, documented moments, shared our posts, bought tickets, or simply checked in to ask how things were going, thank you. Every act of support, no matter how small it seemed, helped make this possible. A Pale Decrepit Dot is not the end of a chapter. It feels like the beginning of a new one. We’re already looking ahead, taking this record to more cities, playing to new audiences, writing new music, and continuing to build this band one step at a time. There are still places we hope to visit, collaborations we want to make, and stories we want to tell. Thank you for helping us keep this journey alive. We hope you’ll continue walking alongside us. This was definitely one for the books. Thank you, for being present. - ATC 📷: @van0ffthewall by @amateurtakescontrol
