@drdawnmussallem spent 25 years at Mayo Clinic, survived stage 4 cancer at 26, lived for years with 8% heart function, and ran a full marathon one year after her heart transplant. She joined me on the BeingBrigid Show this week to break down the link between blood sugar and breast cancer. We covered so much! +Why women with higher insulin had a 34% higher risk of breast cancer +The fasting insulin range she wants you in (a “normal” 12 on your lab report isn’t it)
+The half cup of food a day linked to an 88% drop in hot flashes +Why this longtime vegan added fish and eggs back after her own testing
+The purple vegetable she eats every single day

What amazes me about Dr. Mussallem is her true love for life. Given that she had a near-death experience, she values the preciousness of life in a way that is very unique. She exudes joy! I left the interview feeling like a better person!  Follow us @drdawnmussallem for health optimization and longevity and @beingbrigid for anti-inflammatory nutrition! Comment LISTEN and we’ll send you the full episode! Send this to a friend who is on their cancer journey and could benefit from this message!

[CLOSED] thank you thank you thank you to everyone applied! I will be in contact with testers soon. I’m truly overwhelmed by the response for the Grove Shawl. My goal is to release the pattern at the end of November🫶🏼 The Grove Shawl Tester Call!!🤎🌻 totally inspired by Ma Ingalls, I wanted to design a timeless shawl that can be effortlessly worn for slow mornings and quiet evenings🕯️🏠 DETAILS - the test will run from October 21-November 11 - this pattern uses DK weight yarn - photos included throughout the entire pattern! - Skill level: Easy to intermediate - you must be able to complete the test in time and provide feedback The link for the application is in my bio along with more details about the test and pattern. Thank you so much to everyone who takes the time to test and share my patterns💌 #crochetshawl #crochettestercall #crochetpattern #patterntesting #crochetscarf
