Did my first 5k the other day with @camcarehealthcorporation for Men’s Mental Health Awareness. This one meant a lot to me. I ran it in honor of my brother Derek, who lost his battle with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
He was my best friend and one of the biggest influences in my life still today. I feel like Mental health affects more people than we realize, and I’ve seen firsthand how devastating it can be. Running this race was just a small way of honoring his legacy and helping bring more awareness to something that deserves more conversations. 💜
