Daddies Nasty Sons (DNS) 1990 Streets Of Leiden
Back in 1990, MEGA and ROMEO of DNS set out on a mission. Word had reached Sneek that BlueMoon in Leiden was one of the first shops in the Netherlands selling custom name belts, a must-have item at the time. Without thinking twice, the two youngsters jumped on the train from their hometown of Sneek, where DNS was born and is still active today.
Tucked away in their bags were a few Sparvar spray cans. After getting their name belts, they wandered behind the shop and stumbled upon the Hall of Fame at Vrouwenkerkhof. By chance, the visit was captured on film, creating a rare snapshot of the early Dutch graffiti scene.
More than three decades later, the footage remains a unique document of two young writers, a train ride, a couple of spray cans, and a moment that became part of Dutch graffiti history.
Much thanks to DNS for sending us these unknown gems!
