An #UberEats delivery driver was allegedly shot in the buttocks after returning to a woman’s apartment in hopes of getting her phone number. 😳

According to authorities, the driver told deputies he had taken a liking to the woman after delivering her food and returned around 3:25 a.m. to ask for her number. After she declined, her boyfriend allegedly pulled up in a Corvette, confronted the driver with a gun and ordered him to the ground.

Investigators say the 33-year-old suspect then shot the driver, struck him in the head with the weapon and chased him as his girlfriend reportedly begged him to stop.

During a search of the suspect’s apartment, authorities say they discovered several substances, including cocaine, ketamine, MDMA, marijuana, mushrooms and prescription medications. In court, the suspect reportedly claimed the substances were his prescriptions.

He was arrested and is currently being held without bond.

This bird looks like it has tiny sunflowers around its eyes. 🌻🐦

The white-crested helmetshrike, found across sub-Saharan Africa, has bright yellow rings of skin around its eyes called wattles. Combined with its fluffy white crest, they give it one of the most unique looks in the bird world. 😭💛

Nature really outdid itself with this one. 🌻
