10kg up and still building…. While shredded physique looks the most impressive- off season body requires even more work before it’s ready for prep. Of course- you can use the “off season” as an excuse to do whatever, but if your goal to make some serious improvements you have to be just as committed and consistent as you are in prep. I would argue that prep is much easier ( at least for me) - you’re extremely motivated by the show date, you’re being rewarded by your body making progress quickly which also makes it easier mentally because you know the plan is working. During building phase you’re working extremely hard in the gym, prioritize sleep, you DO NOT skip your meals and the visual progress you make is minimal to none for weeks. It takes a lot longer to build the body than lean out. But that’s the beauty of it. If you learn how to enjoy both phases- you’ll keep thriving and never stay stagnant chasing stage lean physique all year. 📍If you need help with your Fitness goals, message me word: “COACH” 🧚🏻‍♀️💪🏼
