8 years ago, Little Mix released ‘Woman Like Me’ ft. Nicki Minaj.

The campaign started on September 30, 2018, when Little Mix and Nicki Minaj announced the single and revealed its cover art on the same day. The group invited fans to post pictures to a WomanLikeMe mosaic and held a listening party the week before release. The empowerment anthem asks a man whether he could fall for a woman who isn't the stereotypical good girl, telling him to accept her flaws and all, and Nicki Minaj wrote her own rap verse. It arrived as the lead single from 'LM5,' with a lyric video dropping the same day.

The official video came out on October 22, 2018, directed by Marc Klasfeld, and shows the group challenging female stereotypes. In one scene they walk along a massive ruler, a visual reminder that a woman's worth can't be measured or weighed, and Rolling Stone praised it. Little Mix and Nicki Minaj gave their first joint performance at the 2018 MTV Europe Music Awards in Bilbao, Spain.

'Woman Like Me' peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart, which made Little Mix the first act from 'The X Factor' with 20 UK top 40 singles, and it reached the top ten in seven other countries. It was certified Platinum by the BPI in April 2019, and a version with Ms Banks replacing Nicki Minaj also appeared. 'LM5' followed on November 16, 2018 and made Little Mix the first girl group with five consecutive top-five studio albums in the UK.

Thanks for having me @theacademy and congratulations to all the new members!!!! Can’t wait to join 🫡💌

I am typically a big procrastinator and very scatterbrained, but this is the exact system that has helped me lock in on all my goals everything for my body job, relationships, mom life, etc.

And as someone who’s successfully runs multiple businesses, a YouTube channel, lost 45 pounds naturally and also runs my home and family. I can tell you this is what helps😅➡️

And I promise it’s not that complicated. You just need to make the time to do these six things, and only one of them requires doing anything more than once a week.

Before planning another year, take an honest look at this one. Keep what worked and stop caring about or carrying what didn’t.

Be specific. Think about your health, relationships, family, faith, career and how you want your everyday life to feel.

Keep it realistic: three strength workouts, 100g protein daily, one weekly date night or ten pages before bed.

Small actions will literally change your life when you repeat them.

Instead of just writing “get stronger,” decide how many workouts you’ll complete each week and track them.

Make your goal measurable enough to know whether you’re following through and keeping your promises to yourself.

Schedule your priorities, workouts, meals and family time before the day starts filling itself.

If it matters, give it a place on your calendar and literally plan when you are going to do it. This is probably been one of the most useful tools because it’s easy for me to get super distracted or hyper fixated and this helps. Make sure I am moving things along and completing projects.

This part is MAJOR!!! You need a weekly reset that helps you look back, learn, adjust and keep moving forward.

One of the biggest mistakes I used to make is skipping this because it felt like a waste of time, but this is actually what’s help me make the most progress on my goals because I can quickly pivot and make updates to how I’m trying to accomplish them before it gets too far down the road.
