I’ve been wanting a change for a long time now, but felt really stuck. For the past however many months, every single day, I’ve been stressing on what route I want to go with life. Where should I do, what should I do, how do I make it happen. Feeling completely lost. Everything stacks up and you don’t go anywhere. I was debating trying to buy a van, which would suit my lifestyle but it was hard finding the right one and abit out my price range. Thinking whether I should move to the Lake District, but the thought of needing housing, a job and enough to live solo felt really daunting. And that leads me to this trip. I’m excited, but deep down I’m still fighting with the feeling that I’m making the wrong decision. Using a lot of my savings for 1-3 months in Europe, no income, to then come back home and possibly be back to the same decision. Every decision has its pros and cons, and trust me, I’ve been over them all 1 million times. But as I said in my post, even the wrong decision is better than no decision. I’m sure everything will fall into place, and the things I’ll learn about myself on this journey, will stick with me for the future - I have no doubt.
I would never promote just quitting your job without much of a plan like this, and it’s fair to say I’ve had quite a few mixed reactions from friends and family. But if you want to see what I get up to, I’ll be sharing it all. Especially the raw and authentic parts in how I’m feeling and not just the perfect social media side. So make sure you follow along and stay up to date :)
New chapter ahead, beginning 27th July !
