Assalamualaikum!
* 250 years of Amerikan Violence *
Join us this 4th of July at Midnight books LA featuring @qiaocollective @voxummahmedia @islamnrev and @midnightbooksla for a political education program.
We will discuss 250 years of Amerikan imperialism—from its historical foundations to the present day—covering the U.S. war on Iran, Cold War aggression against China, the role of Beijing in the emerging multipolar world, and the ongoing struggle against empire.
As the U.S. celebrates its independence, join us in reflecting on the global legacy of violence, domination, and resistance that has accompanied the American project.
See you there, insha’Allah.
