LL Cool J again walked the St. Albans streets on a recent summer weekday, just like he did when he was James Todd Smith.

But this homecoming is not about the part of his career that earned him Grammy Awards and a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction. He’s in New York to film a scene for his debuting procedural, “NCIS: New York.”

For 14 seasons and more than 300 episodes, LL anchored “NCIS: Los Angeles” as Sam Hanna, the resolute ex-Navy SEAL turned federal agent in a spinoff.

“You get a chance to see some of the vulnerabilities, the uncertainty,” @llcoolj said in a New York Times interview. “Because don’t forget: He hasn’t been home in so long. He’s almost like a stranger in this place.”

At the link in our bio, read our interview with the veteran rapper and actor on his reprised role. Photos by @vincenttullo

The Alps during autumn are WILD 🍁🏔️

These video clips were taken across Switzerland, France, Austria, and Italy 🌍

The best time to visit for fall colors is Mid October - Early November depending upon the region 🗓️

Got her exactly what she wanted and somehow I’m still in trouble 🤣

Apparently saying “I’m not hungry, I’m fasting” while she’s feeling BIG wasn’t my best move 😭 I’m just trying to lose this baby weight, even though she still got the babies in her belly 😂🤦🏾‍♂️

I’m messing up huh 🤔 Was I supposed to order a plate for emotional support?? Y’all help me 🤣
