🎧 NEW EPISODE ALERT! 🚨 EPISODE 168: She Didn’t Peak in College. She Peaked in Her 30s | Alana Levy’s Journey to the Olympic Marathon Trials. What if your fastest running didn’t happen in your 20s, but in your 30s? 👀

This week on RUNWITHALLI LIVE, I sat down with my fellow Horace Greeley High School alum, Alana Levy, 2028 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials qualifier, Director of Product Management, and one of New York City’s top marathoners.

After stepping away from competitive running following college, @yo_lans never imagined she’d qualify for the Olympic Trials. But through years of consistency, patience, and trusting the process, she improved from a 2:59 marathon to 2:48, then 2:40, and ultimately 2:34. all while working full-time.

In this episode, we dive into:

-What brought her back to competitive running in her 30s
-Training in the Swiss Alps before Chicago
-Why getting faster at the 5K helped unlock her marathon potential
-Balancing a demanding career while competing at an elite level
-The mindset, recovery, and nutrition habits that evolved as she improved
-Why patience may be the most underrated performance tool in running

& SO MUCH MORE!

Alana and I graduated together from Horace Greeley High School in 2007. I was the captain of our varsity swim team, and she was the track star. Years later, running brought our worlds back together. A reminder of just how powerful this community can be. Alana, thank you so much for your time and for sharing your story. You are an absolute gem and such a beautiful human. I’m incredibly proud of everything you’ve accomplished and so grateful to know someone who has taken this sport to the next level. What inspires me most is that you don’t set your sights on what’s possible. You set them on what seems impossible, and then you go after it anyway. AH-MAZING!

If you’ve ever wondered whether your best running is still ahead of you, this episode is for you!
