Such heartbreaking news from Paris this morning. 💔

A devastating fire swept through the Marché des Enfants Rouges in the early hours of Monday morning, leaving much of this beloved historic market in ruins.

Dating back to 1615, it’s the oldest covered food market in Paris and one of our favorite places to visit. So many wonderful little eateries, delicious food, and such a lively atmosphere. It’s one of those places that makes Paris so special.

Thankfully, there have been no reported fatalities, but my heart goes out to all the vendors, restaurateurs, and small business owners who have lost so much.

I sincerely hope this beautiful piece of Parisian history can be restored and that these businesses can reopen soon. We’ll certainly be there to support them when they do.
