Last month, we found out that our baby boy has arthritis and that he’s an older senior dog than we ever imagined.

There’s a different kind of ache that comes with anticipatory grief, knowing your time together is finite and now understanding what he’s going through.

But my heart is so full of gratitude for every moment we get to share. From being rescued to spending the last four years in a home filled with love, he’s given us so much more than we could ever give back.
