FT: Real Madrid 1-0 Villarreal Vinicius Jr. went from hero to villain in a matter of minutes against Villarreal tonight. Coming off the bench, the Brazilian brought an immediate spark to Real Madrid's attack, made his presence felt and thought he had capped off his cameo with a goal. But just as he celebrated, the night took a dramatic turn. VAR intervened, his goal was ruled out after a hair-pull on Villarreal's Nathan Saliba, and Vinicius was shown a straight red card. From celebrating what he thought was a decisive moment to walking off the pitch in complete disbelief, it was a chaotic few minutes that summed up the unpredictable nature of football. Vinicius had the chance to be Real Madrid's game-changer, but instead, his night ended in controversy.
Witness Tells Court He Paid Blessing CEO ₦69.15m For A Property She Did Not Own A prosecution witness, Dr. Onuoha Okeiqwe, has told the Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos, that he paid ₦69.15m for a five-year lease of a property allegedly presented to him as belonging to Blessing Nkiruka Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO. Okeiqwe gave the testimony on Monday, October 12, 2026, before Justice R. A. Oshodi during the continuation of Blessing CEO’s trial. Blessing CEO was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on June 9, 2026, on a two-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and stealing involving ₦69.15m. She pleaded not guilty. The witness said the transaction involved a property at No. 1 Tunbosun Osobu Street, Lekki, Lagos, which was allegedly leased to Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited for five years. He told the court that he contacted Blessing CEO after concerns arose over the property’s ownership, alleging that she dismissed his concerns and maintained that she owned the building. Okeiqwe further testified that a man identified as Mr Tom later arrived with police officers and arrested some workers at the property. He said he paid ₦100,000 to secure their release. The witness also identified WhatsApp messages in which Blessing CEO allegedly sent photographs of the building as proof of ownership. He added that he paid agency, legal and caution fees. He maintained that the alleged misrepresentation involved Blessing CEO collecting ₦69.15m despite not being the property’s actual owner. He further alleged that she collected money from another person for the same property. The case is ongoing, and the allegations remain before the court.
You don’t HAVE to walk 10K steps a day to lose fat… But hear me out before you get mad. I know this because there was a time I was walking less than 3,000 steps a day (which is crazy to me now) because we were sailing through tiny islands with nowhere to walk 😂 YET! I still managed to maintain my physique and stay lean. While I LOVE WALKING (you guys see me do it almost every day), and it’s so important for our mental and physical health, there are also times where it’s just not easily doable. Whether it’s because you live on a sailboat or you don’t want to get bundled up to walk in the snow, sometimes we can’t always do the things that ‘we know we’re supposed to do.’ So if you’re getting worried about not getting your steps in now that the days are getting shorter and colder - don’t stress 💕 There are other ways to maintain a calorie deficit and maintain your fat loss goals, including strength training! 💥 PS: The 4 Week LIFT starts next Monday! If you want to get a FREE week of workouts and be part of a challenge that will keep you motivated and moving this fall - comment LIFT below. Stop stressing. Start strength training. @trainborntosweat
