It’s time to get your pink back !!! ✨
My go to chia seed pudding recipe that has 30g protein!!
- 2tbsp chia seeds
- 5oz almond milk
- 1 scoop protein powder (I use
@promix )
-dash vanilla extract
Right before serving I melt 1/2 cup frozen berries to put on top & drizzle peanut butter
My Google Calendar has become my bff 👯
I’m a big fan of time blocking, I will look at my next day the night before to see if I need to move/add anything and/or make sure the day is realistic so I’m not caught off guard!
So many people get caught in the trap of being all or nothing. Especially as a mom when you just want to feel like yourself again asap.
The problem with that is this can be a trap for amplified mom guilt. When you have a family, you have to leave room for flexibility because things might not always go to plan, and that’s OKAY.
Consistency is defined by what you do most of the time, not all the time.
This one is easier said than done tbh. But when I feel the urge to open socials, my email, etc it really becomes a heart check and I ask myself- why?
The mornings have become the first opportunity for me to say “yes” to myself and why use that opportunity to look at other people’s lives?
I aim to get up before my son does so I can spend at least 30 min to myself to set the tone for the day before it gets ahead of me
If you find yourself getting anxious as the day goes or overwhelmed + overstimulated. Stop what you’re doing and put this reoccurring alarm in your phone.
Pick a hour and have it set at :59 so it’s a reminder to just take a few deep breaths for ONE MINUTE. You can do anything for one minute. You can pray, do box breathing, sit in silence.
As a dietitian and mom I’m also figuring it out in each new season. If you’re wondering how to enjoy motherhood consider these reminders from a friend who wants that for you 🤍.
