I’m usually biased towards airbnb hosts but this was genuinely insane… $1,200 a night for a cardboard box. This is why people hate on airbnb, if you’re going to charge $1,200 a night, create an experience worth $1,200 a night so that people happily pay. Not just to try to gouge guests because of an event. Hosts like that won’t last long.

$1200 per night gets you a nice hotel room or two, free breakfast, a gym and you don’t have to take out the trash, do the dishes and sweep the floors before you leave 😂

People just go to hotel. You don’t need someone’s smelly home.

What I found to be absolutely hilarious about the Atlanta area that I just moved out of is that all the airbnbs that were there that are not inside the city that are not in Midtown, that are not in Nice areas that have a reason that people would want to rent them. And then hang out in the city or do something like the belt line. What I found is that they were just regular homes that were in the middle of nowhere or very, very far away from the city that made no sense for what they were trying to rent it for. 20 mins to the city can be 45 to 1 hr as traffic is never ending.
