In the midst of the era of ego-driven, gimmicky-transition, doitforthegram-DJing taking over our feeds and our functions…
I created @trapsoul.wav as a solace, as a protest, & as a reminder to us all:
It isn’t about you, or me. It’s about the MUSIC. The DJ was, is, & always will be - first, and foremost - the SELECTOR.
At trapsoul, we celebrate the music. Here’s a highlight reel of my full set from our collaboration with @thekarak_. No overly fancy tricks & no “look how good I am” DJing.
Just me + ~500 of you, celebrating great music.
Enjoy 🫡
