not to flex but Mickey Mouse let me come hang out on his boat!!! thanks to @DisneyCruiseLine for having me aboard a special sailing for the final reveal of the Disney Believe! I was worried at first that I wouldn’t be able to solve the scavenger hunt leading to the reveal of the new ship and would have to surrender my Disney adult title, but with the help of you guys figuring out the clues on my stories we did it! (nobody tell the mouse I crowdsourced my answers okay? 🤫) my most anticipated announcements: the Encanto and Tangled stage shows (nobody understands how excited I am for an Encanto stage adaptation, if there was EVER a Disney movie that needed to make the jump to the stage, it’s this one) Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast, Sea Notes (a Little Mermaid-inspired piano lounge), and the Moana-inspired Grand Hall. they really managed to get so many of my fave stories onto one ship! thanks again for helping me solve the mystery, gang. we make a pretty good pirate crew 🫶🏼🏴‍☠️ #DisneyBelieveReveal #DisneyCruiseLine @DisneyParks
BOOS ON FIFTH AVENUE: New York paradegoers voice their displeasure with Gov. Kathy Hochul during the city's Columbus Day Parade, booing and flashing thumbs down as the Democratic governor marches through Manhattan. Meanwhile, Democratic Mayor Zohran Mamdani is drawing criticism for skipping the annual celebration of Italian American heritage altogether. Paradegoers can be seen holding "Fire Mamdani" signs and giving thumbs down, and can be heard booing and yelling, "You're going to jail." The contrasting moments put both Democratic leaders under scrutiny as New Yorkers gathered to celebrate one of the city's longstanding cultural traditions.
