Piece of History... a Cricket Club of India "Founder Member" Badge, circa 1933
Belonged to my grandfather Ebrahim Curmally.
It's solid, has some heft for a little object.
CCI was incorporated in 1933... possibly he was the 45th to receive membership.... as per the internet, only a small pool of individuals stepped forward to fund the club before Brabourne Stadium was built by 1937 and memberships were assigned sequentially
