BOF. Congratulations to my agent @saifoo7 who joined the @bof 500 last night. Merci @simonerocha_ for this beautiful design of yours. ♥️
We had to leave back at 5 AM for a 3 hour drive to Canada so I made us a drink to really wake us up and then made her some snacks and fuel for the morning! Growing up, when I wasn’t feeling great, my mom gave me what people now call a Dirty Diet Coke—Diet Coke + milk which I thought was pretty great! But I recently saw @bakedbymelissa make this immunity drink when everyone around us is getting sick and we love it ! IMMUNITY DRINK 3 lemons • 3 tangerines • 3 big knobs ginger • 3-inch piece turmeric • 6 rainbow carrots • 1 red beet • water Peel + roughly chop everything, add to a Vitamix, fill to the top with water, blend and strain through a fine-mesh strainer. Then we got our rower ready for her 5 AM departure! LEMON HIBISCUS HYDRATION TEA 32 oz hot water • 8 hibiscus tea bags • juice of 2 lemons • 2 Tbsp Manuka honey • 1/8 tsp kosher salt Steep tea until deep red and concentrated. Stir in lemon, honey + salt. Chill. PUMPKIN CHOCOLATE CHIP PANCAKES 1 cup flour • 2 tsp baking powder • 1 tsp cinnamon • 1 Tbsp sugar • 1/4 tsp salt • 1 cup pumpkin purée • 1 egg • 1/2–3/4 cup milk • chocolate chips Mix, adding enough milk for a thick, pourable batter. Cook on a buttered griddle. For extra protein, swap in your favorite protein pancake mix. CRISPY POTATO + EGG FOLDOVER 1 russet potato • 2–3 eggs • grated cheese • butter • salt + pepper Peel potato, then use the peeler to shave the potato into thin ribbons. Layer in a lightly buttered skillet to completely cover the bottom. Cook a few minutes, pour over beaten eggs, season + add cheese. Cover until set, then fold in half. REGATTA SNACK TACKLE BOX Cheddar • sesame crackers • bell pepper • cucumber • orange • blackberries—or whatever your athlete loves! Fed, hydrated, packed and out the door by 5 AM. 🚣‍♀️ For everyone asking, the water bottle was gifted to me by @okapaofficial #regatta #gingershot #wellnessdrink #hydration #proteinpancakes @vitamix
