✨As we close the chapter on our very first Ms. ATTITUDE Cohort, my heart is overflowing with gratitude.

Thank you to every young woman who trusted us with your journey, every parent who believed in our vision, every mentor, volunteer, donor, partner, and supporter who made this dream possible. Because of you, we witnessed young women grow in confidence, build community, prioritize their mental wellness, discover their voices, and step into leadership.

What started as an idea became a sisterhood, and I will forever be proud of what we built together.🥹

After much prayer and reflection, I have made the decision that we will not be launching a Cohort Two this fall. This wasn’t an easy decision, but as I begin my PhD in Leadership Studies at North Carolina A&T State University, I know I need to prioritize this next season of growth and ensure I can give my best to both my education and the work I am called to do.

This is not the end of Ms. ATTITUDE’s impact! It is simply a pause as I invest in becoming an even stronger leader, researcher, and advocate for the communities we serve.

To our Cohort One ladies: thank you for making history with us. You will always be our first, and no one can ever take that away. Continue leading with courage, choosing yourself, and remembering that your voice matters.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in Social Roots Foundation and in the vision of Ms. ATTITUDE. I can’t wait to see where this next chapter leads for all of us. 💛🌱
