For my Belizeans in America what do you identify as when people ask you what are you ? When I ask fellow Belizeans the answers are so different sometimes.

Black !!!! Because in America you are whatever group you most closely relate to! I grew up in the Rollin 30’s in the 70’s and 80’s. I knew no real racism. In Belize, we all the same ❤️

I identify as black First and Foremost. I’m Afro Caribbean/ Afro Indigenous. I did my ancestry and there is less than 2% Spanish dna so I don’t subscribe to the Hispanic/Latino identifier.
