In recognition of World UFO Day, here's the one I observed in Laredo, TX, November 2003, around noontime. I was walking downtown with colleagues on our way to lunch and I looked over and this thing sat completely stationary a few hundred feet off the ground and less than a mile away. The small light clouds were moving around and past it. I didn't think space aliens at first, but then everyone started seeing these orb things as the years went by. It looked like a dull bronze metal. Balloons would have swayed at least a little but this thing was nailed to this one spot in the sky. About maybe 10 - 15 feet across.
