📍Bay of the Bones Museum 🌊

You walk inside the huts and see replica clay pots, fire pits and tools from thousands of years ago. It's pretty cool, but the real magic is just standing out on the wood, looking down into the bright turquoise water and listening to the waves lap against the posts. It’s quiet, rugged and feels completely removed from everything else.

If you grew up with immigrant parents, you KNOW the stories. 😂

Apparently, they walked 10 hours uphill in the rain with no shoes just to get to school 🤣

Jokes aside, growing up I heard so many stories about my parents’ lives in Guyana. Now, I finally get to visit the country where they were born and raised for the very first time 🥹

I’m so excited to see the place that’s been part of my family’s story for generations. 🇬🇾❤️

Anyone else grow up with these legendary immigrant-parent stories? 😭

Somehow this isn't AI.

The Tesla Roadster event was a bit of a fever dream.

The simple bear necessities

In 1911, during Captain Scott's Antarctic expedition, a sled dog named Chris was photographed listening to a gramophone in the middle of the frozen wilderness. While the crew was preparing for one of the most dangerous journeys in history, someone made sure they packed a whole record player and hundreds of records.

And honestly, they had the right idea. The music helped keep the crew's spirits up during the long, dark Antarctic winter. Chris looks like he's judging the playlist, but imagine being thousands of miles from civilization and still getting your daily music fix. Bro was the original music critic.
