Hints are in your head. Men do not work with hints because ladies themselves gives conflicting signals. Men have followed up with what they thought was a hint, only to be told, i see you as a "brother." Besides, a lot of Christian ladies claim to be giving hints, and when a man tries to get close, they put up attitude, all rooted in this silly idea of "playing hard to get". Rooted in ego. If ladies will read their Bible on how Ruth was guided by Naomi, and her consistency. Esther was guided by Modecai, and Eleazar's encounter with Rebecca. Loads of Biblical lessons to learn from in proactively showing interest in a Godly man. Above all, he may not be interested, even though you may be interested.

As a guy who has been on the receiving end of this kind of interaction several times, I can say that there’s just several reasons a guy won’t make a move even though he knows you’re interested. And fear is the least of them
