Acosta Strong Fine Art

Exciting new paintings by Brad Richards @zenofneato
These three paintings represent a striking contemporary vision of the American West through bold color, simplified forms, and cinematic composition. They blend elements of abstraction and representational painting, using expansive negative space, dynamic geometry, and unexpected color relationships to transform familiar Western imagery into something fresh and modern.
These three paintings distill the Western landscape into bold shapes, luminous color, and powerful simplicity. Rather than documenting a place, they evoke its spirit through contemporary design and fearless composition.
1. “Behind the Sky” 30x24
2. “Arroyo Rider” 30x24 acrylic on canvas
3. “Loosing Tail” 36x24 acrylic on canvas

Together, these works demonstrate how contemporary Western art continues to evolve—honoring iconic subjects while embracing bold color, minimalist composition, and a distinctly modern visual language. Needless to say, we are very excited with the direction Brad is taking with his art. I love it. #modernwestart #westernartcollector #coolpaintings
