I read the burning letters as all the documents that held oppressed groups back being burned up on the path to progression but the focus of this piece is on the liberation of women. I would name it "3/5ths of the Revolution".

I absolutely love this piece. The brightness and use of warm colors beautifully enhance the emotion and seriousness of the story being told. Including the newspaper clipping from the actual event adds another layer of depth and makes the piece even more powerful. Combined with the intensity in her gaze, it creates such a moving and impactful work. Beautifully executed.
