Trailblazing cellist and improviser Lucija Gregov performs with Aurélie Nyirabikali Lierman & Milana Zarić. The trio performed together for the first time in March 2026 in Rotterdam’s Batavierhuis. Their music evokes a string of ancient rituals brought through to contemporary ears & re-interpreted as a dialogue of chants, multidimensional chord-like structures and overtone interplay between strings, bells and objects. The musicians freely move within their collaborative imagination, creating unexpected connections between Aurelie’s voice and shruti box, Lucija’s powerful cello and Milana’s harp and percussion.
