Yesterday outdoors in Eastville Park wading, with Bristol Avon River Trust and The Big Team (CreativeColab)brought together a small group of partners from film, digital media, creative arts and event organisations to tell the story of our rivers through creativity and collaboration. During our survey, we found a small dam that had been built by dog walkers to create deeper water for dogs to bathe. Although well intentioned, changing the natural flow of a river can disturb habitats and affect the wildlife that depends on them.
The finished film will be shown at the Forward Festival in August, helping to raise awareness of the importance of protecting our rivers for people and wildlife. I love my job…
