This makes me so happy. #repost @cnn: New York City’s Central Park horse-drawn carriage industry is nearing its end after Mayor Zohran Mamdani and City Council Speaker Julie Menin reached a deal on legislation that aims to abolish the carriage rides. Menin is expected to bring legislation to the council floor for a vote this month, a spokesperson told CNN. The move comes after years of criticism from animal rights advocates who charge that the horses are overworked, get easily scared and live in inadequate stables with drivers flouting city regulations. Horse and carriage owners have denied the the claims, arguing the animals are well cared for and the stables are up to code. The death of 18-year-old tourist Romanch Mahajan, who was killed after jumping from a runaway horse-drawn carriage in Central Park last summer, renewed calls to ban the century-old attraction. Mahajan is believed to be the first person to have died in a carriage accident since the rides were introduced more than 150 years ago, according to the industry’s labor union and the Central Park Conservancy, which manages the park. It’s crazy how many rappers have been leaning into their Christian faith lately ✝️🔥 Miles Minnick and Trap Dickey just linked for “3’s Up,” another Christian rap collab arriving while Miles and Dickey are having major years, both in 2026 XXLs Freshman class. After becoming known through Brooklyn drill, Fivio Foreign released the gospel song “Chasin’” with The Fire Choir, got baptized in August and said he wants to praise God through his music instead of glorifying violence. GloRilla just linked with Kirk Franklin again for “This Time,” their second gospel collaboration after “Rain Down On Me,” which won the BET Award for Best Gospel/Inspirational song in 2025. Skilla Baby also recently paused his Breakfast Club interview when his prayer alarm went off and the entire room stopped to pray together, while NLE Choppa and Romeo Miller publicly shared their baptisms, with NLE thanking Jesus as he entered a new chapter and Romeo doing it alongside his daughters. From established Christian rappers breaking further into mainstream hip hop to artists publicly getting baptized, praying and changing the message in their music, it’s clear God is moving through hip hop right now ✝️❤️
I don’t know about y’all, but earlier in my life I didn’t even realize I was on a relationship escalator. I certainly didn’t take many of those steps intentionally. But after my divorce I started to look at relationships in a new way and I realized that we have choices. We can choose to build our relationships in all different kinds of ways. And now if I move up the escalator it’s with intention, not just because it seems like the next step to take
