solo vanlife w/ a cat BUT we heard coyotes + a few things I do everytime atlas goes outside👇🏻

First and foremost, yall KNOW I do everything in my power to keep atlas safe. But the man would be so depressed if I keep him inside all day, so yes, I let him out (when it feels safe).

But beforehand this is what I do:
- Run around the area to spook anything
- If there's dogs in the caravan, then have them come with me
- Then let atlas out WITH me SUPERVISED
- One thing I do before I let him out is NOT FEED HIM… because then he stays close to the van and doesn’t wander off
- I always have a Tractive GPS collar on him at all times
- & then every 15 minutes or so, I check on him
- IF there's coyotes in the area, I DON’T LET HIM OUT. This was about 8 hours after I heard them and mid day + we had dogs, so I felt comfy going outside with him.

WHY don't I have a leash/harness on him… he HATES it and it would make him run/move slower if anything did happen. This is just for him. Otto, my other cat, LOVED a harness and leash and moved the same in it.

& then there's places I NEVER let him out in:
- Tahoe
- Arizona

Obviously I am nervous everytime he goes outside, but he LOVES it, so this is everything I do to help.

Ok hopefully this minor rant was semi helpful?

Vrat food, but make it fancy! 💅🏻 50g protein btw

Ingredients:

* 1 avocado
* 100g plain yogurt
* 200g paneer
* Ghee
* Rock salt and black pepper
* Fresh coriander
* Pomegranate seeds

Method:

1. Mash the avocado and mix with yogurt, black pepper and rock salt.
2. Cut paneer into cubes, drizzle with ghee, and season with salt and pepper.
3. Air fry at 180°C for 8–10 minutes, or until golden brown.
4. Serve the crispy paneer over the avocado-yogurt base.
5. Garnish with fresh coriander and pomegranate!

Perfect for when you’re fasting but still want something fancy, filling and protein-packed!
