One Neuron of 86 Billion 🎧

How does a neuron fire? Sodium rushes in, the spark hops along its myelin, and a whole brain of 86 billion neurons runs on about 20 watts.
One spark crosses its cell, hops the gaps in the myelin (the fastest nerves carry signals at over 100 m/s), puffs chemicals across a synapse about 20 nanometres wide and, with other inputs, fires the next neuron, until waves of signals light a whole brain, every neuron playing the beat.
