I can only describe the last 18~ months as a homecoming.
Coming home to myself, and to the vā - which I like to think has been waiting patiently for me. It’s really been a profound and healing experience. I’m kinda overflowing with creativity, alofa, gratitude, it’s just so freaking nice I want to hold and protect this feeling forever.
First slide is the final session of Tupe’s Siva course and we had each presented our taualaga to an audience of aiga and friends, it was scary and imperfect and I loved it. It was a whole different feeling compared to the first session which totally disarmed me - guys I literally just came to dance 😂 The love, acceptance, knowledge and vulnerability shared amongst these badass women took me by surprise and I felt like I was a bunch of exposed wounds for everyone to see and nowhere to hide.
Like all good pisces I cried and went with the flow 😌
