This is Santo Domingo. Medellin has 6 economic strata and this is the lowest. The poorest people in Medellín live here. I lived here comfortably on $300 a month even though I was often paying gringo prices. My house rent was almost twice what local price would have been.

That's an advocado tree in the middle laden with fruit, and the small one is a limon tree. I think all of them bear edible fruit.
