An unusual incident in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, has shocked people after an electric vehicle suddenly started moving without anyone apparently behind the wheel. The incident took place on Jail Road and was captured on CCTV. The video later went viral on social media, raising concerns about what caused the vehicle to move. According to the owner, Saurabh Rathore, his nephew was cleaning the vehicle outside the office when it suddenly began moving. The owner claimed that the car key was not inside the vehicle at the time. The car first moved forward, throwing his nephew off, and then began reversing, leaving people nearby alarmed. Local reports state that the vehicle climbed a bridge before rolling backwards about 20 to 25 minutes later and hitting another parked car. Three young men narrowly escaped injury. However, the incident caused damage to the vehicle, including its headlight and driver’s-side door. The owner suspects a technical fault and has said he plans to complain to the company. However, the exact cause of the incident has not yet been confirmed, and there is no official finding proving that a vehicle defect was responsible. A technical investigation would be needed to establish what happened.
🎉You all, I'm so excited about this! Canada is where my love of reading started, and this nomination is a full circle moment. I'm so grateful I got to celebrate this with my parents while they were visiting us from Ghana! Thank you @ontariolibraryassociation and @forestofreadingprogram for this incredible honor, and congratulations to the other nominees! (Especially to my author friend @theahmadsaber! I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!) 🌲🌳🌲Forest of Reading is Canada's largest reading program and one of its biggest literary awards. Schools and libraries across the country read the nominated books and readers vote for the winner. It all ends with a festival in Toronto for thousands of young readers. How cool is that?! 🫢🙈
