🔊🆙📈🛹 They were trying to shutdown the Skate Session on Wall Street. 😂 Yesterday was a movie! It was an honor being there and skating amongst so many legends ❤️ It was crazy to be in Wall Street skating this ramp however, as a society we should support small businesses, local businesses, our friends and family, mom and pop shops, and the working communities. But we should also learn how to monetize on the very things these people “in power” have access to. Power to the people. 🎥 @mattchenot @belle.tower

The fossil discovery of a lifetime. What looks like an ancient underwater garden is actually one of the largest fossilized crinoid colonies ever discovered, dating back approximately 180 million years to the Early Jurassic. Measuring an astonishing 18 × 6 meters (59 × 20 feet), this remarkable fossil covers an area of 108 m² (1,160 sq ft). Discovered in 1908 near Holzmaden, Germany, it took 18 years of meticulous preparation to reveal its extraordinary details. These flower-like creatures, known as Seirocrinus subangularis, weren’t plants at all. They were marine animals related to modern starfish and sea urchins, living attached to a massive floating log approximately 12 meters (39 feet) long, drifting through the Jurassic seas. Since 1971, this extraordinary specimen has been on display at the Urwelt-Museum Hauff in Holzmaden, in a specially designed exhibition hall built to accommodate its enormous size. 180 million years old. 18 years of preparation. A truly extraordinary piece of natural history. #Fossil #Paleontology #Dinosaur #Jurassic #Holzmaden

Some autistic kids don’t understand when a request is genuinely impossible: ▪️Asking for a broken object to work exactly the way it did before ▪️Asking for a food or product that is completely sold out ▪️Asking to go somewhere that is closed ▪️Asking to bring back an item that was lost and cannot be found ▪️Asking for the weather to change ▪️Asking to make a character in a book or video do something different ▪️Asking to make a pet behave in a very specific way on command ▪️Asking to make someone stop crying, coughing, or making another involuntary sound Repeated attempts to help them achieve the impossible can keep hope alive and ultimately make the disappointment BIGGER. So when the request is impossible, show them you understand what they want, then be clear that it cannot happen. Your job is not to prevent disappointment, it’s to give clear information and help them through it. In therapy, kids can practice accepting an alternative after a small, less-important request cannot be met. Over time, kids can build more flexibility, tolerate disappointment, and learn what to do when the answer truly cannot change 💙 #autism #autistic #autismawareness #autismacceptance #neurodivergent
