For the Nonni, the collection, is a memory paused at 34 Delphin Avenue. Inspired by my grandparents Virgina, Franco, Nicola and Maria, this collection tells their stories as Italian Immigrants in Australia. Exuding charming silhouettes of the 1950s and classic Italiana, For the Nonni unveils my family’s legacy; I explore the known and unknown and transform archival photographs, moments, and memories into reimagined, retro-futuristic physical manifestations.
