POSTS STORIES REELS
For the Nonni, the collection, is a memory paused at 34 Delphin Avenue. Inspired by my grandparents Virgina, Franco, Nicola and Maria, this collection tells their stories as Italian Immigrants in Australia. Exuding charming silhouettes of the 1950s and classic Italiana, For the Nonni unveils my family’s legacy; I explore the known and unknown and transform archival photographs, moments, and memories into reimagined, retro-futuristic physical manifestations. Graduate Collection by Jamie Bearzi. 🕯️💈🗝️❤️‍🩹 Garment Designer & Maker: Jamie Bearzi Print Design/Maker: Zachary Millen Sigley Knitwear Design/Maker: Jemma Phelan Talent: Riley Beven, Nick Cossenas, Kieran Dorman, Daniel Woldemichael Stylist/s: Jamie Bearzi, Iris Christke, Indigo Douglas, Jemma Phelan Photographer/s: Jamie Bearzi & Indigo Douglas HMUA/s: Jamie Bearzi & Iris Christke Special Thanks: Greg Lagamba of Macquarie Textiles, Vinnies, Next State Print. oO! pearls! by @b_studiobyjamie
i know you see this one around a lot so i’ll keep it brief… FD reuse project for sem 1, created a one-off piece out of denim jeans and a lace dress from savers. i love this one so much, the intricacy of lace and the raw edges of denim🤤 i also love beading so it was a great excuse to pull out the pearl beads and add a fem touch to the dress. i’m usually one for nice clean edges and perfect seams but it was fun to mess around and make a perfectly imperfect dress resembling the frivolity and freedom i wanted to present🤍 by @b_studiobyjamie
