Eyes of the Sun (2024) digital painting by artist @mundaii_ - โEyes of the Sun was inspired by a photograph found on Pinterest, with the eyes serving as the focal point of the piece. The sunflower petals symbolise warmth, radiance, and growth, while the pastel colour palette reinforces the vibrant and playful energy of the portrait. The glossy lips, a recurring feature throughout my work, add a personal touch inspired by my love of lip combinations. Through this piece, I wanted to explore joy, self-expression, and the connection between sunlight, growth, and Black identity.โ
