We spend so much time chasing the perfect shot that sometimes we forget to simply live in the moment.
Every year at EDC, I hand out disposable cameras and ask everyone to experience the weekend a little differently. No screens to look back at. No retakes to get it right. Just moments left to chance, waiting to be rediscovered long after the music fades.
I never expect these photos to come back perfect, and that’s exactly what makes them so special. They capture the laughs, the chaos, and all the little in-between moments that would’ve otherwise faded with time.
Maybe that’s why I keep coming back to this tradition. As everything around us becomes more polished, curated, and even AI-generated, these photos become more meaningful. They’re imperfect, unplanned, and undeniably real. And I think that’s what makes them timeless.
Year 3 of this tradition, and it’s become one of my favorite parts of EDC. Grateful to everyone who picked up a camera and helped preserve moments I’ll be able to look back on for years to come 🫶🏽
Here’s to another year under the Electric Sky!⚡️🎞️ 🎆
