This weekend, I got to witness one of the greatest blessings of my life come to life.

For the last 6½ years, I’ve watched Connor fall more and more in love with Ash. Over those same 6½ years, Connor has become so much more than just my sister’s boyfriend—he’s become family. I’ve watched him stand by us through every season, always showing up, whether it was for me or for Ash. He’s the brother I never had, the steady rock my sister has always deserved, and the God-loving man his parents raised him to be. I couldn’t be more grateful that he’s the one she’ll spend forever with.

And to my sister—my rock, my built-in best friend, and my favorite person. You’re the one who knows every part of me. You know when I need a pep talk, when I need a hug, when I’m about to cry, and even when we don’t see eye to eye. No matter what life brings, it will always be you that I run to. There will never be another bond like ours, and I will always be your little sister.

I love you both more than words can ever say. I’m so thankful God wrote this story for the two of you, and I can’t wait to watch the next chapter unfold.
