Because I’m sure someone else here can relate to this and needs the reminder Some of us deal with more skin issues than others. I’ve been dealt all of them in my lifetime. From my head to my toes. Right now I don’t feel good in my skin. I work so hard at it and within one week back on Finacea, it destroyed my skin barrier and has me breaking out everywhere like I haven’t seen in years. I could hide it or remind you all, that this is real life, not the filtered « perfect » skin you oftentimes see online. Even the best of us go through cycles 🫶🏼 #acne #realtalk #skin #transparency

$5,320,133.⁣ ⁣ That's how much, in total, it costs to live comfortably in the US over a lifetime, according to Investopedia's annual analysis of the increasingly elusive 'American Dream.'⁣ ⁣ That sum is up 4.1% from a year ago and nearly $2 million from three years ago. Investopedia found that homeownership (shocker!) takes the biggest bite at nearly $1.3 million, which includes a $420,000 house and a 30-year mortgage at 6.32% (plus taxes, insurance, and maintenance). Pulling up the rest of the list came two cars, retirement, raising two kids (+ college tuition), and health care.⁣ ⁣ So, how close is the average American to that stunning number? Grinding full time from age 25 to 64 will earn a median $3.6 million before income taxes; throw in 20 years of Social Security to get to $4.1 million, and the final tally still comes up more than a million dollars short.⁣ ⁣ Note: Investopedia utilized data from BLS, NAR, Freddie Mac, Tax Foundation, Experian, AAA, Economic Policy Institute, Child Care Aware of America, NCES, Allianz Partners, ASPCA and The Knot when producing their analysis.
