🪷 fashionably late(?) as always: I had the honour of participating this year’s Frankfurt Fashion Lounge once again. Here’s a little note for those who'd like to read~ (*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ

This year's theme was “Longevity” and, for me, it makes me think of tradition and culture, which are one of the longest standing parts of this world. I tried to pick up inspiration from Thai vintage eras and hopefully translate it to modern wearability, using only discarded fabrics I’ve collected over the years. 🌾
Since it was also the 10th anniversary of @frankfurtfashionlounge , I wanted to experiment with menswear and create my first ever men’s outfit. Since I graduated in womenswear (which I adore), I did struggle quite a bit with the pattern since I have only little experience and no one to measure, until I rang up my dear friend @matteodemuth to be my sizing saviour. Alas, I was able to move on to my easier women’s piece (or so I thought). My sewing machine decided to give up the ghost and then said “haha just kidding”, so I was able to continue sewing (a lot by hand) all night, hours before the show, in full stress & adrenaline and a couple too many cups of caffeine, which I admit gives me a shameful amount of pleasure & satisfaction. And then I had to pray everything would fit the models that I was given the day of, but luck was on my side, and they all looked beautiful nonetheless. 🤍🙂‍↕️✨
