A lot of new people have followed me recently, so I thought I’d properly introduce myself and explain how a chartered accountant somehow ended up in the music industry throwing festivals…

I studied accounting and marketing at the university of Otago in New Zealand, just in case I hated accounting at least I had a something completely different to fall back on 🤣

After graduating I got a job at KPMG as an auditor 8 years ago in Tauranga, New Zealand.

I sold out my first 400 person gig just over 7 years ago…

Today I work full time in the music industry, help run festivals across multiple countries, and somehow get to call this my job.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that most people underestimate what can happen when you consistently work towards something for years.

Keep putting yourself out there. Show up every single day as these things take time.

To say I’m excited about what’s next is an understatement.
