Philadelphia Eagles quarterback #JalenHurts will be sitting out Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers after doctors discovered movement in a blood clot in his leg.

According to a statement from the #Eagles, Hurts initially sought treatment for a calf injury he suffered after being cleated during the team’s October 4 matchup against the #LosAngelesRams. An ultrasound later revealed a superficial blood clot, but doctors determined he could safely continue playing. The quarterback went on to compete without restrictions in Sunday’s game and returned to practice Wednesday.

However, a follow-up ultrasound that night revealed that the clot had moved, prompting the team to pull him out of the upcoming matchup. “Jalen will be out for Sunday’s game vs. the #Panthers as we determine the appropriate course of treatment,” the Eagles said, adding, “His health and safety are our highest priority.”

If you knew my brother, you knew he almost never wore shoes, drew flames on everything, was always building a sword or a guitar, and was really freaking good at martial arts. But most of all, he was the most loyal brother. Through everything he struggled with, he showed up every time I asked and even when I didn’t.

I’m going to miss this wild man so much. I’ll miss singing with you, I will miss your giant infectious smile, your catch phrases and hearing about all your insane ideas.

Thank you for showing up for me, for making my life weirder and louder, and for giving me so many stories I’ll tell for the rest of my life. I just wish we had more time to make a few more. Im sorry we never caught that alligator. Give dad the biggest hug for me.

I love you, Deano. 🖤 RIP

AD Who better to run around Stratford and talk about making things happen than my friend and Queen of Manifestation @candicebrathwaite
The next episode of Miles with Meaning with @bootsuk is now live on @youtube
Candice has already conquered the NYC Marathon. In fact I hold her twerking during the race entirely responsible for me signing up so I was all ears for her tips.
Although I’m still hoping manifestation might do some of the miles for me. 😂
A brilliant conversation about believing in yourself, going after what you want and putting one foot in front of the other. Quite literally.
