Tribute to green lanterns: "isometric mind"

Batman, Superman, Flash, and Green Lantern each represent a different philosophy of power expressed through the body.
Batman’s physique is discipline made flesh: dense, controlled, functional, almost gymnast-meets-powerlifter, built through relentless training and total mind-muscle command.
Superman’s body is alien potential: a dense Kryptonian physiology empowered by solar radiation, making him a living engine whose strength comes from origin and environment.
Flash is explosive motion: a sprinter’s body amplified by fast-twitch speed, chemical transformation, and the Speed Force, where reflex, momentum, and nervous-system precision define the form.
Green Lantern is different because his “physique” is will under tension. Hal Jordan’s ideal body would be lean, coiled, and endurance-based, like a man living inside a sustained isometric contraction. The ring does not simply do the work for him; it amplifies disciplined focus, spatial intelligence, emotional control, and the fighter pilot’s ability to commit under pressure. His body is shaped by the need to hold intention steady until thought becomes structure. Batman trains muscle, Superman metabolizes sunlight, Flash channels speed, but Green Lantern manifests will.
